Warren McCleary at the Business Network – 27 April 2017

The April meeting of The Business Network will be held in the Conference Room of the Banbridge Enterprise Centre, Scarva Road, Banbridge on Thursday the 27th April 2017.  Registration is open at 7.30am and the meeting starts at 7.45am.

Guest Speaker – Warren McCleary FCA, Chartered Accountant

The Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond presented his budget on 8 March this year, the last to be held during springtime.  During a time of political uncertainty in Northern Ireland, it is important that businesses are well informed about any changes in legislation. 

Warren McCleary FCA from McCleary & Company Chartered Accountants has done the hard work for you and will take us through the budget to see what is applicable to business owners in Northern Ireland.  

Warren has 31 years of practice experience and is the managing partner of McCleary & Company Ltd., a Lurgan based firm who specialise in looking after all the accounting and tax needs of owner managed business.  

As well as looking after his clients’ compliance needs, Warren’s special interests include; Strategic Planning, Research & Development Tax Credits and Advanced Tax Planning. 

Member Speaker – Alison Matthews, VirtuAli Admin Solutions

Alison Matthews is a ‘Virtual’ PA and the owner of VirtuAli Admin Solutions, which provides remote and in-house administrative support to micro and small business owners.  

With 16 years’ vast admin experience across a variety of sectors including facilities management, export and tourism in Northern Ireland and abroad- Alison is well placed to help find solutions to any admin problems you may face.  

Her business is based in Moira but because of its digital nature, she can work with clients virtually anywhere in the world. Alison will provide us with an overview of how hiring a VA works in practice and the type of tasks time poor entrepreneurs can outsource to her to regain a better work/life balance.
