ABC Business Network will meet on Thursday 30th January 2020 at Banbridge Enterprise Centre from 7:30am to 09:00am for our first meeting of 2020. Breakfast will be provided on arrival. In addition to expert advice from our speakers, Niall Parfitt and Robbie Abraham, network members and visitors will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their business, present questions to our hosts and network together. The meeting will be followed by our Annual Members AGM from 09:00 – 09:30am. Visitors are welcome to stay for this if they wish to.
Speaker 1: Niall Parfitt, Atlanticus Digital
Topic: How to Use Inbound Marketing to Increase Traffic, Leads & Customers
Niall Parfitt, owner of Atlanticus Digital, is a digital consultant with 20 years’ experience in digital marketing. He has worked with a wide range of businesses from large organisations to SME’s including An Post, Ulster Bank and Queen’s University. Niall is experienced in all areas of digital marketing, certified in Google AdWords, Google Analytics, HubSpot and Hootsuite and is a specialist in LinkedIn, Lead Generation and B2B marketing. Atlanticus Digital is one of the top HubSpot Agency partners in Ireland and works with companies all over Europe.
Niall holds a BA Business and Management and was awarded the Belfast Telegraph prize for Marketing. Niall completed an MSc in Organisation and Management from Queen’s University, Belfast and a professional diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
On a personal level, Niall is deeply passionate about giving back and regularly fundraises for the Children’s Heartbeat Trust through completing the Belfast and Dublin Marathons. He has plans to do more marathons this year! Staying sharp and committed, it’s his determination in all that he does that accomplishes results.

Speaker 2: Robbie Abraham, Alpha Media Group
Robbie Abraham is the Regional Advertising Manager of the Ulster Gazette in Armagh, Newry Democrat and Co. Down Outlook, which belong to Alpha Media Group. Alpha is the largest weekly newspaper group in Northern Ireland and the Irish Midlands with a readership of over 185,000 for paid-for newspapers. They also have a greater circulation than the Belfast Telegraph, Irish News or News Letter.
Robbie started his Advertising Career back in 1986 with Johnston Publishing (then known as Morton Newspapers), managing all 10 of its weekly titles at various stages, as well as the Belfast News Letter and Derry Journal. He joined Alpha Media in 2017 and is highly experienced in all areas of advertising platforms, such as digital, mobile apps, and all forms of social media.
Robbie has a degree in Business Management and was an account handler at Ulster Bank for five years before beginning a career in advertising. He also volunteered in a managerial role for Lisburn Business in the Community, where he was Chairman for a number of years, working with various local charities.
Robbie will provide an overview of Alpha Media Group and the editorial and advertising opportunities that are available via their local weekly newspapers, websites and social media channels.
